What information shall we provided for quoting?
Final 3D drawings in X_T, STEP PRT or IGS format will be the best files for quote;
2D CAD drawings with detailed dimension need to be provided if any special dimension request.
Complete manufacturing information, which including material, quantity, surface treatment, special technical requirement etc.
How long shall I get a quote?
For prototype and Mould Tool, quote will be offered within 24 hours of receiving the RFQ
For production, quote will be offered within 48 hours of receiving the RFQ.
Will my drawing be confidential after sending to Lead Well?
No worries, We are pleasure to sign the non-disclosure or confidentiality agreement before quoting, Lead Well ensure all the information will not exported to a third party, what's more, all files will be completely deleted once it's over 6 months.
Shall we use our own material for production?
Sure, Lead Well accept customer supplied material for production once all production technical information had been confirmed between us.
Shall we take away my silicone mould after duplicate samples is ready?
Apologized for this, The silicone mould must be kept in Lead Well for 3 months unless specified while ordering.
How can I know the lead time for my project?
Lead time will be evaluated in working days and shown on the quote, The accurate lead time will be updated while the beginning of actual production.
How long can I get my samples?
Generally the quality parts will be manufactured in less than 10 days, it will be longer if the project with more complex parts and quantities, But for 1st off-tool samples, It would be about 4 weeks.

What tolerances can Lead Well achieve?
In fact, Tolerance requirements are different for each project, because of the different fabrication processes, materials,
The tolerance can be specified as your design by considering following factor,
Once your order is confirmed, A design for manufacturing review will be provided after we reviewed your design again, Any tolerance which may not be able to meet your desired tolerances request will be marked out, It’s helpful if you can point out the critical tolerances which must be achieved, and some others tolerance can be followed our advise after communication.
So we have summarized some general tolerance for your reference guidance：
General tolerances for CNC machining in Plastic parts is +/-0.15mm while the part dimension is less than 30mm.
Plastic injection molding tolerances is +-/0.1 while the part dimension is less than 30mm
General tolerance for metal machining is +/- 0.1mm
To ensure all dimensions and features meet request, All manufacturing and technical specifications need to be clearly specified in the 2D drawings.

How long can I get the part after dispatch?
Generally It will take 3~7 working days for delivered the parts, The delivered time is not same due to different countries. The parts can be followed up at any time while we send you tracking No.once it’s dispatched.
Can Lead Well pay the shipping freight?
As our standard terms are Ex Works (EXW) for prototyping, Tooling and production. Once the tooling and production goods dispatched Lead Well, all the shipping freight, customs clearance, insurance, and all other associated fees should be charged to the customer.
For express shipments, We can pay the freight if the freight offered on the quote, But the import duty for the part should be paid by customer which the parts is arrived.
Does Lead Well have the capacity for exported tools?
Of course, we must explain that our tooling is manufactured according to the client's demand, and all tooling will be run production automatically.
